  1. Entering a command into an input window does
  2. not run it.  You must instruct SPSS to run
  3. commands.  Within SPSS, you can run commands
  4. in the following ways:
  5.  
  6.   • Click the Run & Close button in the
  7.     SPSS Command Generator window.
  8.  
  9.   • Choose Run Selection from the Run menu.
  10.  
  11.   • Press R.
  12.  
  13.   • Press the Enter key.
  14.  
  15. If you have selected more than one command,
  16. the commands will be run one after the other.
  17. If the insertion point is within a command,
  18. only that command is run.
